But at Klyde Warren Park’s Reading & Games Courtyard, there are several boards available so players of all skill levels can challenge their opponent. If you don’t care to play chess, backgammon, and checkers boards are also available.
Ping Pong – If you want to play ping pong, head to the park’s east lawn. You can play with a friend or a total stranger and the equipment is provided at no cost.
Putting Green – If you need to improve your putting skills before playing a round of eighteen, bring your putter and practice on the east lawn.
Fitness Programs – Did you know that research suggests that shared public space encourages a healthy lifestyle. If you’re looking for a new workout routine, the park offers boot camp, ballroom dancing, tai chi, yoga, and Zumba, all of which are free of charge.
Petanque – This fun game is the French version of bocce ball and The Dallas Pentanque Club hosts weekly games in the commons.
Savor – When all of the fun makes you hungry, you can find a variety of delicious meals at Savor, the park’s main restaurant. According to its website, it provides a chef-driven menu with shared plates in order to combine beloved pub food with a modern twist.Back to all posts
